Panorama Glass Lodge is a family owned and operated business.


The Glass Lodge is an unique Lodge in Iceland at Hvalfjordur, directly by the sea and only a 30min drive away from Reykjavik.

You sleep in a glass house igloo with an amazing panorama view, where you will have the best chances to see the northern lights, that will be very bright & visible due to the remote location. It is also wonderful to enjoy the amazing midnight sun during summertime. If you are lucky you also can spot some sunbathing seals or even whales out in the fjord from the beach.


The lodge is located in a remote area and provides full privacy and is perfect for your honeymoon or just an adventure trip.


Our Lodge has a small, fully equipped kitchen (provides two electrical stoves, a toaster, a water heater and a fridge) and a dining table and all the amenities you may need.

The bathroom is equipped with a big rainforest shower.

A luxury two person outdoor hot pot right next to the Lodge is included in your booking.

It is only accessible by car. Parking lots are in front of the Lodge.


There is no breakfast provided in the price. Included in the price is a cleaning fee and VAT 11%, free wifi, coffee and tea as much as you want and use of the outdoor hot pool.


You sleep in a comfortable custom made king-size bed with finest luxury duvets from Bohmerwald Bavaria and fluffy linen from Schlafgut Germany. The bed is standing in the middle of the glass house where you sleep under the stars or midnight sun in summer. Side curtains are available, if needed. Please notice that the glass roof has no curtains, there can be surrounding light from the moon or sun. . The bathroom contains a big 40x40cm rainshower in a cozy spa ambiente. With your booking you also get access to our private outdoor hotpot (heated on 39/40 degrees Celsius) next to the lodge with an amazing view over the Fjord where you enjoy full privacy.


We have a fully electronic door opening system. You get your access code one or two days before arrival via email. Please also check your spam-folder. You have to install the NUKI smart lock app before your arrival to use it as a key. Your code is valid until check-out at 11AM.
