Information about the host
Our house is centrally located in the district Königssee. In just a few minutes walk you can easily reach the Königssee, the valley station of the Jennerbahn and the bobsleigh and toboggan run Königssee. The many hiking trails lead you directly from our house to the peaks and huts of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps. Shopping facilities and numerous restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity. Our vacation apartments also offer the best conditions for a perfect winter vacation in Schönau a. Königssee. Cross-country skiing trails and the Jenner skiing area with snowmaking down to the valley can be found directly in front of our house. The internationally known bobsleigh and toboggan run invites you for bobsleigh rides or the popular Kurgästerodeln. Also other winter activities such as toboggan runs, art stadium, curling rinks or cleared winter hiking trails in the Alpine National Park do not let boredom arise in winter. From the nearby bus stop you can use the public buses in the Berchtesgaden valley basin for free with your guest card! An e-charging station is available for guests.

Arrival Description
You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden, passing through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally arriving at the large traffic circle at the Berchtesgaden train station. Take the Königssee exit and follow the Königsseer Straße (B20) straight ahead. After about 5 km, follow the signs to the left in the direction of Königssee village. At the next small intersection, keep right and drive over a small bridge into Brandnerstraße.
