Il Vignale is situated on the hills of Lucca, in a large estate producing local red and white wine, honey and extra virgin olive oil, where we have been successfully renting another property, Le Pergole, during last years. It enjoys stunning views of the surrounding countryside with olive groves and fruit trees. The pool area in particular is set in a secluded and very panoramic position, where guests can entertain and relax enjoying the most spectacular views on Lucca and its towers , definitely one of the most beautiful views available on the plain of Lucca. Guests staying here can organize a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the estate vineyard as well as purchasing products at the estate office. Il Vignale has been recently restored to a high level with great care and attention to details in order to enhance the original character of an old farmhouse yet granting the best comfort for spending quality time during your holiday. The large vaulted sitting room with stone walls highlights the character of the original structure. The spacious stylish interiors have been tastefully and comfortably furnished to a high level with a nice combination of antique and modern furniture. The property has been equipped with all modern comforts . All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms , air-conditioning and mosquito screens. The garden is fully fenced thus granting complete privacy. An appealing pergola creates the perfect shelter where to gather together for 'al fresco' meals or just relaxing admiring the views. The property is ideal for families travelling with children as the private swimming pool is fenced. Il Vignale is conveniently located for exploring Tuscany, Lucca is just 5 km away, the Versilia coast is a short drive away (Viareggio seaside resort is at 28 km). The Guests can easily reach also the main towns like Firenze, Pisa and many others. Cleaning service is included 4 hours a week. 10m x 5m. Fenced pool.

The house was mainly lovely. The weather was not, so maybe it affected our feelings. The house definitely requires the use of a car (or a bike) to get anywhere. The house is perfect! It is probably the best equipped villa we have ever stayed in , it is clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. Views from the pool over countryside to Lucca are amazing. The WiFi was reliable. A wonderful week, thank you.

A beautiful villa with stunning views of Lucca.
Lucia was most welcoming and helpful, and the villa was like a home from home. Everything you could possibly wish for had been thoughtfully put in the house.
