The holiday home is in a quiet location in a small hamlet, about 1 km from a small village in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region.
Outside, you will enjoy the terrace with garden furniture and the garden with garden furniture and barbecue. There is also a private tennis court. Guests can park their vehicles in public parking spaces in the street in front of the house.
The stone house, renovated in 2013, sleeps up to five people on approximately 65 m² and two floors. On the ground floor there is an air-conditioned living room with a sitting area and a TV with digital television, a dining area and an open-plan kitchen. It is fully equipped with a gas cooker, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two with a double bed (160 x 200 and 140 x 200 cm) each, one with a single bed (90 x 190 cm) and a small study. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. All rooms are heated with electric radiators. Wireless internet is available via WLAN.
The holiday home is an ideal base for exploring the Bordeaux region, as well as visiting Bordeaux (a UNESCO World Heritage site) or the Bay of Arcachon and the Dune du Pila on a day trip. Saint Emilion, with its vineyards and medieval town (a UNESCO World Heritage site), is also nearby. Many circular routes lead through important wine regions and châteaux, and the region is also rich in historic villages with castles and palaces. In the village, about 1 km from the house, you'll find all the shops you need for everyday needs, such as a grocery shop with bakery products, a tobacconist's and newsagent's, and a hairdresser. In Gensac, around 2.5 km away, you'll find restaurants, cafés, two doctors and a pharmacy. But the region has much more to offer than just wine lovers and history buffs: depending on the season, you can also enjoy a variety of sports, including canoeing on the Dordogne, swimming and other water sports at Lac de la Cadie, around 5 km away, as well as tennis, microlighting, mountain biking, hiking and golf.
