Marie-France welcomes you to an authentic Morvan farmhouse full of character, steeped in history from the early 18th century, fully restored in accordance with the rules of the art with care and taste.
In a small rural hamlet overlooking a superb hilly plateau of bocage on the edge of the forest (with the peaceful Charolais as neighbors!), leaning against the southern hillside on the slopes of Mont-Beuvray, exceptional belvedere culminating at 821m offering an extraordinary view (as far as Mont-Blanc!), occupied at its summit by the "oppidum" of Bibracte, an ancient fortified Gallic city, one of the best preserved with its ramparts and districts extending over 200 ha.
A rural and natural setting of great beauty in the heart of a remarkable protected site classified as a "Natura 2000" zone.

De prachtige omgeving en de mooie gite, met alle moderne voorzieningen en voldoende comfort.
Het bed was een minpuntje. Veel te zachte matras.

Magnifique domaine. Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour, le gite est spacieux et la terrasse bien agréable. Les deux gites sont bien séparés, les terrasses et les entrées sont de chaque côté du bâtiment, La propriétaire est très sympathique et accueillante. Nous recommandons.

This is a beautifully renovated old horse barn, with every comfort. A perfect place from which to eplore the nature park of Morvan with its history, the forest and the surrounding countryside which we did with our mountainbikes. The host is very accommodating.
