For those who love walking, you will find magnificent scenery on the South West Coast Path and the unique landscape of Exmoor National Park..
Ground Floor: Living room: 28" Freeview TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Woodburner Kitchen/dining room: (1 Step), Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer Separate Toilet.
First Floor: Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Single (3ft) Bed (Flexible Sleeping Only) Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.
Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.
Initial logs for wood burner included.
Travel cot (available on request).

North Huckham is positioned on the edge of Exmoor, a short distance from the village of Bridgetown, and is an ideal destination for those wanting to fully appreciate the beauty and tranquillity this area of the country has to offer.
The house is accessed by a rough track and is set within a large garden, and has views over its own private pond.
On a clear evening, due to Exmoor’s Dark Sky status, the heavens will be filled with the most amazing starscape.
The town of Dulverton is a short drive away and offers a good range of local shops and some very good tea rooms and restaurants.
There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coast Path or inland on Exmoor and many other places to visit to make a memorable holiday.
The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton are famous for the National Trust’s Watersmeet House with a dramatic river gorge valley and the Cliff Railway.
The coastal town of Minehead is nearby where you will find a long sandy beach and a picturesque harbour, a good selection of shops and other amenities.
The West Somerset Railway is the longest heritage railway in England for those with an interest in stream engines.
The National Trust’s Dunster Castle and village, with its beautiful terraced gardens, Deer Park and Mill, make for an interesting day out as well as Porlock Weir.
There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor for all to enjoy.

• Sadly, we inherited a lawn that was full of dog mess, the rules of the cottage do require that mess is picked up.
• the driveway down to the cottage is horrendous, really very steep.
• only two negatives, as the rest of the experience was wonderful; Correct star rating. Middle of nowhere cottage.

The cottage was lovely. The garden was fantastic,large and secure for our dogs.Our dogs loved swimming in the pond everyday. We would recommend that a upright freezer be installed & booster ariel for tv..
We are looking forward to returning in the future as the owners allowed us to take a 3rd dog.

Had a really lovely week in this wonderful cottage. Lots of lovely walks to go on close by or further away. Exmoor is close by and a fabulous place to explore. Plenty of delightful woodland walks with streams running through. The cottage is gorgeous and more than well equipped it had everything in it we needed. Would definitely go again.
