A detached, stone-built, Victorian property in the scattered village of Ganllwyd, in the Coed-y-Brenin forest, 5 miles from Dolgellau.

A versatile Dolgellau cottage, this large house stands in its own grounds overlooking the River Mawddach and the wooded hills beyond.

This Dolgellau cottage is perfect for family breaks, providing spacious, well equipped accommodation including family bedrooms, four bathrooms, a spacious living room, games room and forest views from many rooms.

This Dolgellau cottage stands amidst beautiful scenic countryside in the Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park, renowned for its mountain bike routes, magnificent walking trails, spectacular waterfalls, nature reserves and other exciting outdoor pursuits.

Dolgellau is 5 miles away, offering shops, pubs and restaurants.

This impressive Dolgellau cottage is wonderfully situated for enjoying the surrounding National Park, as well as the huge sandy beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne, ideal for family fun and watersports.

At the end of the day return to this imposing Dolgellau cottage to wine, dine and relax.

Bryn Cemlyn is a large Victorian house overlooking the River Mawddach, and the forest land beyond. There are five bedrooms in this spacious property - on the second floor is a room with double bed, single bed and en-suite shower, and also a twin room, while on the first floor is a double, another double with an en-suite shower, and a room with a king-size double, a single bed and 'Jack-and-Jill' access to one of the 'family' bathrooms with corner bath and shower cubicle. There is also a second main bathroom, and two additional WCs, one on the ground floor. Downstairs is a fitted kitchen with a Newood cooking range, a dining room and a spacious living room. In the basement is a utility room, and a games room with pool table, table tennis and darts. Outside, there is off road parking, bike storage and a sitting area with furniture and BBQ. With the mountain bike and walking trails of the forest on the doorstep, and the rest of Snowdonia and the coast within easy reach, Bryn Cemlyn makes a wonderful base for large groups. It's our 3rd time staying here ,we love it ,the house accomadates a family of 12 and a dog very well with plenty of room for all off us. The views are amazing the river at the bottom of the garden is lovely it's very easy to feel at home in the house and we have already booked for next year

We absolutely loved the cottage. Is perfect for a big group, the rooms are all great sizes, the games room is fun, kitchen is stocked full of pots and pans and crockery, we cooked every night. Morning dip in the river is a dream if you’re brave enough!! Lovely location

The accommodation was amazing, a large space with a fun games room in the basement to pass the time on those rainy days. The views of the forest and river were lovely at the front of the home. All rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this to friends and family, and would very much consider staying again.
