Obertraun is located south-west of Salzburg in the lake area of Salzkammergut.

During the summer it's a popular holiday area and during the winter a busy skiing area.

The area is so unique, that is was added to UNESCO's World Heritage list in 1997. The chalet is furnished in a modern and tasteful way, not forgetting the typical Austrian aspects.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and features a double cooker and several ovens. No less than 8 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms are at your disposal, as well as a private sauna and a spacious terrace with garden furniture. In the holiday village there is a central building with many options, such as a restaurant with sun terrace (terrace only open in the summer), indoor swimming pool, mini market, children's entertainment (in summer only) and a fitness studio.

The public beach of the lake is located within walking distance.

During the winter, the ski bus stops in front of the door and you can arrange ski rental on site.
