Nestled among the Oak trees in this peaceful retreat is your next weekend away.
Our brand new resort offers some unique accommodations for Waco visitors.
We look forward to hosting you! The Space: The Nuthatch Cabin The nuthatch bird exhibits a somewhat “nutty” behavior or at least one that mystifies ornithologists.
The bird often smears tree resin or pitch around the nest entrance.
Whatever their reason, the birds seem to delight in their nests, resin and all.
You will delight in the Nuthatch cabin with its spacious open living area downstairs, perfect for visiting.
The cabin accommodates four guests.
The bedroom, with a king-size bed, and bathroom, are upstairs.
Downstairs, the sofa provides a queen-size pullout bed.
The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker.
Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the cabin.
Have a Roku subscription? Stream your favorite content on the TV.

Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, to name a few.
We invite you to relax and stay a while in the Nuthatch cabin. (If you have any insights into why the birds use resin, let the scientists know—you may solve a great mystery!) Guest Access: Guests will access the door with a four-digit code.

The Neighborhood: Waco Creekside Resort Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay.
Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping.
Getting Around: Please see the park map for directions to your rental.
Other Things to Note: The Nuthatch cabin offers ground-level entry.
The main bed is in the upstairs and the second be is a full sized sofa bed in the downstairs.
Additional features include king-size bed and private entrance.
This cabin accommodates two guests with its comfy king-size bed.
The spaciousness of the combined living and sleeping quarters allows for easy mobility around the room.
The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker.

There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish.
It is catch and release only right now.

We had a great experience. The communication from them was excellent, definitely above anyone I have dealt with. The property is new but has great accommodations, especially if you RV. We rented one of the cabins.

We loved the quiet (probably a little noisier at their busier times-hardly anyone was there this week). The beds were comfortable. Everything was decorated so pretty and each cabin was based on different birds which appeals to us as bird lovers. It’s close to Waco and Homestead heritage and we enjoy...
