Morleschio is a beautiful holiday home set in the rolling hills of
Umbria, not far from Perugia. It is ideal for a small family or two
couples. This is the perfect place for those seeking peace and
relaxation surrounded by nature.
The villa is located in a quiet, rural area. The large village of
Ponte Pattoli is just a 10-minute drive away and offers several
restaurants, cafés, and a well-stocked Conad supermarket. Perugia can
be reached in 25 minutes and boasts a pristine medieval centre and the
fascinating underground fortress Rocca Paolina. Assisi is also close
by. For those who wish to explore Tuscany, towns such as Cortona,
Arezzo, Montepulciano, and Siena are within easy reach. Lake Trasimeno,
Italy’s fourth largest lake, is also a lovely destination for a day
trip.
The stone house is surrounded by ancient olive trees. In the garden,
there is a spacious terrace with dining table and a gazebo, as well as
a large pool – perfect for relaxing outdoors. The accommodation is
entirely on the ground floor and easily accessible.
Inside, Morleschio has been carefully restored. Original wooden beam
ceilings, exposed natural stone walls, and many cosy details create a
warm and welcoming atmosphere. The furnishings are comfortable and
tasteful.
The upper floor is reserved for the owner’s family and is used as their
holiday home. The pool may occasionally be shared with them.
