Nieuwe Dijkstraat 3b is a house for 5 in Westkapelle.
Inside you have a pleasant living area and a kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, stove, cookware, plates and cutlery, wine glasses and a fridge; it’s easy to gather at the dining table.
There are three bedrooms.
The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
You can use the washing machine.
Outside there’s a garden with a patio or balcony and seating.
For children there’s a baby cot and high chair; there’s no stair gate.
Bikes can’t be stored indoors. Inside, Nieuwe Dijkstraat 3b feels light and pleasant, with a calm, homely vibe that lets you settle in straight away. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, stove, cookware, plates and cutlery, wine glasses and a fridge.
The dining table is perfect for breakfast, a quick lunch or a long evening together. There are three bedrooms with space for five guests in total.

Start at the Polderhuis Westkapelle (Dike and War Museum) for the story of the dike breach, then walk along the sea dike past the Sherman tank to the Westkapelle Hoog lighthouse; on opening days you can go up for wide views. For the beach and a bite, Strandpaviljoen De Westkaap at the very tip of Walcheren is a good pick.
The path over the basalt blocks along the dike is a short, adventurous walk with kids, and sunsets are often beautiful here. Fancy an afternoon with the family away from the beach? Drive to Terra Maris in Oostkapelle, the museum of nature and landscape with a large museum garden; during school holidays there are regular children’s activities. You can park for free on the street at Nieuwe Dijkstraat 3b. Prefer closer? You can park next to the house in the narrow alleyway; this is at your own risk.
There’s no option to store bikes indoors.

Westkapelle on Walcheren is a coastal village on the North Sea, protected by the high sea dike and recognisable by the red lighthouse. The beach runs along the dike and south towards and beyond Zoutelande. The village breathes sea and history, with sturdy dikes, groynes and wide views.
Walk over the Westkapelse Zeedijk or follow the dune path to Zoutelande or Domburg. The Westkapelse Kreek is lovely for a stroll or birdwatching. In the Polderhuis Museum you can dive into dike and war history. On days with good waves you can surf here; on calm days, SUP or swim along the coast.
Close by are Zoutelande at about 4 km and Domburg at about 6 km. Towards Oostkapelle you’ll find De Manteling, Kasteel Westhove and the Terra Maris museum about 8 to 10 km away. For a city day go to Middelburg at around 13 km or the boulevard of Vlissingen at about 14 km. Historic Veere is about 16 km.
At Nieuwe Dijkstraat 3b, Parking information can be found in your Boarding Pass. Parking is at your own risk. To enter the house, walk to the end of the passage and go through the black gate. Everything is simple to arrange during your stay.

Ruhig gelegen, mit schöner Terrasse.
Die Armatur im Bad war defekt, wurde nach einem Telefonat mit dem Vermieter sofort ausgetauscht.
Die oberen Zimmer sind sehr spartanisch eingerichtet.
Matratzen in den oberen Räumen sind nach meiner Meinung nicht die besten.
Die Beschreibung der Wohnung stimmt nicht ganz mit der Realität.
Es gibt keine Badewanne, kein Doppelwaschbecken, keine Glastüren.
Ein Fernseher wäre auch schön gewesen, dieser wird aber auch nicht aufgeführt, ist mir bei der Buchung aber nicht aufgefallen.
