Away from mass tourism, in a quiet, rural setting, we offer you a top-class detached holiday home with a private pool.
Your holiday home is embedded in the landlord's 3 hectare finca; it is located on its own 250 m² plot of land with an adjoining orchard (which you are welcome to use). From the terraces and from your own vantage point, you can enjoy magnificent views of the sea as far as the neighbouring islands of La Gomera and La Palma.
Here, in the west of Tenerife, above the coastal towns of Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena, the sun actually shines 350 days a year.
You can look forward to a particularly peaceful location with a neighbouring nature reserve just 450 m above sea level.

For the sporty side, play a match on the table tennis table.In the detached holiday home Casa Hélena you will find - apart from the magnificent view of the sea and the neighbouring islands of La Gomera and La Palma - a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas hob, microwave, toaster and coffee machine.
Right next to the kitchenette is the dining table with a view of the garden and the sea. In the living area, take a seat on the comfortable sofa, read a book, enjoy music with 3.1 sound or watch a great film on the flat screen with the latest LED technology - from German satellite TV or a medium you have brought with you. With the latest Nintendo WII, you can fulfil your gaming and exercise instincts.
The bedrooms are bright, decorated with fresh colours and modern furniture; they invite you to feel at home.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a spacious shower, a washbasin with plenty of storage space and a WC. A gas stove is available for the cold season. Only one bedroom is available for occupancy by up to two people.
Use of separate bedrooms by arrangement only.The mobile phone network of Telefónica, Vodafone and others covers our finca.
Free internet access is available via LAN or WLAN within the scope of fair usage.
The reception antennas are set to the Astra satellite; you will receive the relevant German-language radio and television programmes, among others. The landlords will spoil you on arrival with a good bottle of wine and a bowl of local fruit.
The neighbouring village of Chío is only 3 km away, so you can easily reach it on foot.
To get to know the island better or to do the shopping, you will need a car. Opt for our bright red 4*4 Panda and leave the stress of the airport behind you: we'll pick you up! Restaurants and shopping facilities are nearby.
A 5-minute drive will take you to the small town of Chío, a tranquil village where you can do your shopping, find restaurants, go for a walk or simply get to know the country and its people.
The nearest sandy beach, Playa de la Arena, can be reached in approx. 10 minutes by car. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Tenerife with very fine, typically black sand and particularly clear, clean water.
The nearby towns of Los Gigantes and Alcalá offer small, romantic bays.The landlord's family lives on the finca.
The water is of the highest quality and comes from a neighbouring deep well; the electricity is supplied directly from the sun - in island mode and without a connection to the public energy supplier.
On the few rainy days and especially in winter, there may be a shortage of electricity; in this case there is a diesel generator.
The landlords grow wine, fruit, vegetables and spices in their own garden for their own use. If you wish, you can buy these products fresh and ecologically sound.
