The absolute highlight for families is the shrimp fishers on horseback, a unique tradition that does not exist anywhere else in the world and is recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. At set times, Brabant draft horses with their fishermen venture into the North Sea to catch shrimp — an unforgettable spectacle for young and old alike. Upon departure, please empty all trash bins and leave garbage in the designated spot.
